- Approve Suurogacy in Michigan House Bill 5207 would create a new act, the Assisted Reproduction and Surrogacy Parentage Act, and repeal the Surrogate Parenting Act. Part 2 of the new act would apply to the birth ofa child by assisted reproduction not involving surrogacy, and Part 3 would apply to the birthof a child by assisted reproduction under a surrogacy agreement.
